I am currently applying to study to be a secondary teacher.

I have studies maths and sicence and am qualified to study to teach maths or applied maths.

When applying for the course you must pick one.

Why would someone choose Applied maths above maths - would maths not be a subject with better employment prospects.

Anyway - Just applied to TCD PG in Education for Maths.

I have 0 hours teaching experience but 15 years in the engineering industry.

I have a Electrtonics (3rd class honours) engineering degree from TCD.

Is there any chance I will get on the course. 1000s must apply.
