Is my iPhone unlocked?

Hi, I got a replacement iPhone from Apple a few weeks ago, and I'm looking into changing networks from o2. I served out a contract with o2 on my old iPhone and got it unlocked but never changed network.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if the replacement iPhone will come unlocked or if there is any way to check if it is locked to the o2 network? Cheers.

Replacement phones will keep the same locked/unlocked status.

Put a (non o2) sim in it. If it works, it's unlocked and if not it's not :D

I am in a similar situation, I sent a pm to daryll as per the stickied o2 unlock requests thread.
He sent the request to apple so I'd imagine once you've spent over 150euro credit and explain your situation you'll be fine.

Served out an 18 month contract on the other phone and then moved to credit as i was leaving the country for the summer so if they won't unlock it (if it isn't) I'd be well annoyed! Think I've only bought bout 20 quids credit on the new one, should be ok anyways.
