Since last sunday I have lost all 4 english tv stations. They were working fine. I can still
Get the irish stations. The tv ariel doesn't look like it has moved.I'm based in dundalk. Has anybody any idea what the problem might be?

    Analogue presumably.
Maybe a broken diplexer on the aerial or something small like that.

Yeah it's analogue Is the diplexer a little black box that hangs off the ariel. I noticed it hanging off and blowing in the wind.

    What does it do exactly?

Is this box blowing about in the wind connected to the aerial with a metre or so of cable, or is it placed within a couple of inches from the NI tv aerial? Either, way, I highly doubt any part of the system should be blowing about in the wind where the copper can be damaged inside the cable, or where rain can more easily penetrate. I imagine that's the cause of your problem:confused:

Yes, the box is about a metre or so below the aerial. The wire leaves the aerial then passes through this box before it enters the house. Looks like I'll have to call someone out then.
