    Hi,
I have iphone 3g (jailbroken, unlocked) , tried to update through http://www.applerepo.com/jailbreak-iphone-using-limera1n/
It didn't go past step 'release poser button'.
When I connected again iTunes said it's in recovery mode and to 'restore and update (itunes 10).
Was in stage of restoring/updating and said an error occured.
Now everytime I turn my phone on it shows the graphic to connect to itunes.
    Cheers,
    Pa.

I forgot to say that I recently updated my itunes to itunes 10. Does this affect it as it's asking me to restore AND update?

If guil's advise doeasn't solve it, put it into DFU mode (http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034) and try restoring it then.

Not sure which firmware you're on, but you may have to use latest version of redsn0w (http://xs1.iphwn.org/rs/redsn0w_win_0.9.6b2.zip) to put it in a "pwned" DFU state.

    Fairly simple either way :)
