HB icecream -heart brand, hazel brook, hughes brothers, housebrand

07-11-2010 6:20pm#1Useless info alert! Was in tescos and saw what I thought was some odd brand of choc ices, 6 for €2. They called them "housebrand" choc ice, and if you search tesco online you get 2 hits for housebrand but it is actually HB

It offers most of the Heartbrand's ice cream range, as well as some products designed exclusively for the Irish market, including the Hazelbrook Farm range of "blocks" of ice-cream.
In Northern Ireland, both HB and Wall's ice-cream (the UK variant of the Heartbrand) are available, and in recent years have been promoted together as HB Wall's
Must be just coincidence that HB could also stand for heart brand
