    I got this in an email recently and thought it pretty cool.It takes ages though.Some very interesting stuff in it.

    It's told me that Google or Yahoo didn't exist..

    There were no computers..

    Books were still popular..
    Trees were felled to make these books...

    Much better way to find out just go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ and put the year of your birth at the end of it. e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986

    The other site is crap, it spends ages loading up stuff instead of just giving me all the info at once. I can't even let it autoload and come back to it later because it insists on auto scrolling to the bottom of the page. It doesn't seem to prioritise things very well for example the site has been loading **** for ages, it's told me the lyrics to rock me amadeus and told me what films were out when I was 9 and 8 and 7 but has still yet to tell me that Chernobyl disaster happened the year of my birth. That's a pretty major event. Stupid site.
