I've heard skiing hols are the best craic so have convinced my mates we should go next Feb/March . We have no experience and are all single so we would love to hear any suggestions for a fun place for our age group which is beginner friendly and not cost a fortune. What companies fly from Dublin? Is Italy the best option?
    Thanks in advance ;)

I've been skiing only a few times but the times I went Austria was the best if only for the reason that the transfer time to the resort from the airport was around an hour whereas in Andorra and Italy it can up be up to 4.

Not too bad on the way out as you'll have the excitement of going on holidays but on the way back it's a killer. Especially if you've an early flight home! Just something to bear in mind

I'll second Austria. My reasons are: short transfer time, excellent apres ski, great lift systems, well groomed pistes, food & drink are reasonably priced (on and off the mountain) and I can speak German. But they all speak English anyway!

We organise it ourselves, flights etc. But if it's your first time - have a look at the ski companies:
    directski, inghams, panorama, topflight etc...
DON'T book your skis/boots/equipment through the operator, do it when you get there. And ski passes are the same price no matter where you get them.
