car wont start?

    ok so went to start the car today put in the key ignition lights came on as normal let the glow plug light go out, turned the key to start and nothing happened... tried it 5 or 6 more times still nothing. came back after a few mins tried it again and it started!! switched it off and then tried it again and it started no problem..
    anyone got any ideas what could be wrong??

    its a mk1 seat leon tdi

    Dodgy connection at the solenoid maybe.If it does not start again, turn on the headlights and see if they dim.That will tell you the starter is drawing current or not.Bad connection at the batt?
