Selling SNES + Titles

Hi,

Don't know if this is against forum etiquette but here goes;

Currently I own a SNES console in good working condition. No physical damage, one controller and around 15 games, give or take. In addition to a Super Game Boy and Universal Adapter. Some titles are NTSC. All games work, though only some have boxes. Below is a list of all titles. I've also got a Game Boy Colour, boxed in perfect condition. I'm looking to sell these, which was a hard decision to make - I'm moving away soon and have to get rid of a lot of stuff. I'm hoping someone here would be interested or can at least point me somewhere that would be!

What you're meant to do is put items up for sale on http://adverts.ie/

It's boards.ie's sister site used for sales. You can then link your for sale ad to this forum so people can see it's up and pop over for a look.

That's a great lot by the way. You won't have any trouble selling it at all.

Your selling this for 200? Geez....I have an ad for 37 SNES and 10 NES games for 350 that isn't going anywhere GLWS!

Adverts will require you to set an asking price, you can't leave it as free. And 200 quid is way off the mark, you'll shift it easier if the price is more realistic. I'm not intending to sound blunt, just to help you with the sale.

ok. maybe i'm off the mark. i put roughly €400 into this myself but maybe i paid a bit too much over the years. sorry if €200 is unrealistic. what would be a fair price?

i've checked the cart and its says street fighter II turbo, the picture on the front is e. honda and sagat fighting, made in japan pal version.

Price wise, I'm not great tbh but at 200 it's definitely over the mark. o1s1n will have a good idea what it's worth, I'd guess at between €100 & €120.

It's StreetFighter 2 Turbo, not Super "" "" "".

ah so it is, my complete apologies for that! if that's a reasonable price then great and i'll offer it for that. would you agree o1s1n?

Don't take my word on it, wait for a second opinion to be sure. Could be more could be less, but 'feels' a bit more in the right zone in my opinion anyway.

Best thing to do is to calculate each item, put it all together and then deduct a bit as you're selling it as a lot. Valuing snes boxed games wouldn't be my thing, but I can take a shot at it. Do they have booklets?

Snes console - 40-50 euro. Depends on the console condition and number of pads. The guy in that shop in town is selling them for 30, which I think is quite under priced.

Super Ghouls and Ghosts (Boxed) €20 (possibly a bit more, I'm not sure)

Which comes out at around €200 if you sell it all individually and get the going rate for each item.

The problem is as mentioned, you'll have a hard time selling a Snes lot for that much.

I'd put it up at say €135 if you're in a rush to sell it. If you can play the waiting game, €150 and say you're open to offers.
