Recording Component/HDMI PS3 gameplay

    I've been reading up on how to do this, using a number of different methods, but all seem to get video out from the TV which I don't have.

    Is there any way you can split the Component cables after it comes from the PS3 to connect to both the TV and recording device.

    Or better yet is there a recording device that lets you pass through it, to the TV.



    Would the Hauppauge HD-PVR or BlitzBox HD be the best option? And if so where is the cheapest place to get them online?
