    Hi,
I was parking my audi a4 yesterday and all of a sudden the steering wheel became very stiff, in fact I could barely move it.
Does anyone know why this might happen?
    Thanks,

Check the levels of your power steering fluid. Its usually a smallish reservoir towards the back of your engine bay.

Power steering belt could of snapped, assuming is a hydraulic set up. Did the battery warning lights come on?

Check power steering drive belt and level of hydraulic fluid.

That would be the worst case scenario, check the power steering fluid level first and go from there.

No point in bringing in a mechanic just yet. It could be as simple as the power steering fluid level being low
