Hi i have some problems with the internet on my laptop i think!

Before i start i had a number of viruses recently that might of done something to my internet, so i may need to configure it or somethin. (and i also removed the viruses)

    1. google earth wont work, Google earth could not connect to the server to activiate your session, a warning message said that.

    2. Internet explorer just wont work either, no pages will load ever, but firefox will work.

    3. i cant download anything that involves having a internet connection, i tried to download a game recently, but then it said please check your internet connection and configure (or something like that anyway)

    4. windows live messenger just says the same thing as google earth, that wont work either.

    5. and some other things aswell, that involve internet connection.

Please help, give me advice on how to fix these problems, there really annoying me. :)

Sounds like you still have virus- malware problems, what happens if you make firefox you default browser, also check if there is a proxy set in IE LAN connections.
