Eating alone vs eating with company

Eating with company is ok as you can talk about stuff in between stuffing your face. However, you cant be the pig that you truly are. Personally, I rather eating alone. Nobody, especially a member of the opposite sex, should witness me attacking a dominos pizza with garlic and herb dip. What do other AH people prefer.

    Eating alone for me.

I hate people looking at me when I'm eating, hate it.

Say no more my friend, say no more. How can anyone be down about this recession lark when you have got the likes of Papa Johns around.

And yes, it is best that nobody witnesses me assault and savage a medium BBQ chicken.

A messy Kebab should be brought home for you to eat alone in silence and appreciation to wake up in the morning with a bit of red onion up your nostril

Bloody hate it when I'm just sitting down to my dinner and friends arrive in. Especially when I have to answer twenty questions about what I'm eating, how I cooked it etc etc.
    Let me eat in peace!!

    New promise to myself:
    Don't answer door while eating.

    Pizza Hut.

Things like spagetti should only be eaten alone.
But i do like going out for dinner with people. Mainly for the desserts though really.

Because the recession restricts the ability to buy Papa Johns.

    Simples.

I don't watch other people eating so I don't expect people to watch me eating. However if I am eating and in company they can all shut the f*ck up till I'm done.

I'll get killed for this, but I love Mizzoni's.

Oh, and yeah, I hate eating with others around me cuz you can't relax and be yourself. Feck conformity.

Dominos, Four Star, Papa Johns......God bless you all, you've never eaten a decent pizza! I live with two Italians and two nights a week they cook a proper authentic pizza, using only 4 ingredients - flour, tomato passatta sauce, cheese and basil. It is just delicious, better than anything i've had before. All the so called pizza we eat in Ireland, be it from a frozen box or a pizzeria, is nothing more than a bastardisation of the real thing.

And to answer the OPs question, i prefer to eat alone. I prefer not to have to talk in between bites.

Been to many Italian restaurants in Italy and the pizzas are bland. Over here you get all the toppings you want, but they don't do that there. Although they are alot cheaper. than the usual dominos rip off here.

And I have cooked pizza for myself from scratch, easy peasy and just taste the same as take aways

Agree about frozen pizzas though they are all rotten.

Italian pizzas in Italy bland? You must have ruined your tastebuds with all the crap you get in Ireland. They do all kinds of toppings, just not rubbish like Chicken BBQ and ham and pineapple.

I prefer eating alone, but you know what? If I've just bought a foot-long sub and want to chow down on it while taking the bus, I damn well will . Who cares if I end up with a red onion on my chin? :P

Actual pizza. Dominos is absolute muck.

I can't choose! I love having people over for dinner but it's nice eating on your own because I get to chill out in my pj's and watch rubbish T.V. :D

All this talk of eating in the presence of company and not a single sexual innuendo yet, for shame AH, for shame:p

I prefer eating with company generally. I find when I'm eating by myself I eat way too quickly and don't appreciate the food the way I do when labouring over it and chatting.

I prefer with company as you have the option of talking, you can choose not to talk much anyway. Unless your on a date I don't see why people eat differently while with company, I've no problem eating lke a pig when I'm wth company

Sounds very bland to me, it's not a pizza without meat toppings...think i'd still prefer to order one

don't like chicken on a pizza or ham. There toppings are very limited in regards to the dominos(which are average pizzas) type pizza. Italian pizzas are totally different. And I can't see the big fuss, pizzas are not exactly rocket science to make. A bit of dough, mozzarella and tomato.
