Name the artist

My friend plays a few tunes and recently played a song called McClory, he learnt it while on holiday, think it was written by Pete St John, just wondering is it on any CD's and who recorded it?

Just had a quick look pajoanseo. The only reference to a recorded version that I can find is a tape referred to in the following mudcat thread:

Someone has recorded a version on youtube though... Not your friend by any chance?:)
