Query: anything to watch out for with a BMW 330d

Dear BMW experts, Is their anything that I need to consider if I purchase a 330d (2004 model)? Is the car reasonably reliable? Are parts any dearer than any other car? (servicing will more than likely be carried out outside of a main dealer. That is, by my usual mechanic, who is competent in high-end cars).

FFS there is no need to start 3 different threads in the space of two hours on the same car..

Righto, point taken. If anyone has any information with this model of car, I'd appreciate their experience. regards, Patrick.

Well I was being a bit pedantic anyway. Welcome to Boards :).

You should edit your first post to include all you queries because most threads end up on page three in the space of an hour if they get little replies. Thats what will happen your other two threads.;)
