Buying a iPod touch

    Just wondering if its possible to use the new iPod touch bought in the U.S. in Ireland??

    Yes - not too sure about the plug though - you can always charge it via your PC/Mac though :)

    yes you can.. you will just need to get either a adapter or a converter because i think the voltage is different in the us.. i could be wrong but thats my understanding

    Thanks. Just was making sure. wouldn't want to make the mistake of buying it and finding it doesn't work!

    The iTouch does not include a mains charger so there are no issues at all.

    you will not require an adaptor at all, the iPod Touch is charged through your USB port, i bought my old Classic in NYC, My newer Touch in NYC and the other halves Nano in NYC, all without issues.

    there all gone now though as we upgraded to iphones :D

    I've bought both my Ipods over the years in NY and never had a problem. We get ripped off big time over here so whenever I need something like an Ipod or a camera I always check and see if any anyone I know is heading over.

    Ipod Touch 8gb €177 approx in US vs €229 here, worldwide warranty so no worries there, no mains charger as mentioned above, USB cable only.
