Local newspapers would be your only real source of information.

The District Court (which includes the Small Claims Court) does not keep a log or record of the details of each case, just the result. The whole point of the District Court is to process cases quickly and with minimum red tape and cost for all concerned, thus the overhead of logging the details of each case is avoided.

As a result you typically cannot quote an earlier case unless it is to remind a specific judge that he made a particular interpretation of the law in an earlier case which it would be to your advantage to replicate in this case, typically this strategy is only invoked by solicitors and Gardai who appear frequently before that judge.

If you're looking for the result of a specific case then you could drop into the District Court office, give them the date and the name of the litigants and they shouldn't have a problem giving you the result of the case.
