I've been watching gameplay vids all day on youtube of various different commentators and got to thinking who I would pick as team mates in a sort of fantasy team line up

I settled on:

x43r0 (for taking out air support )
Sandy Ravage
xSocrates
xJaws
PyroPuncher

Which 5 commentators would you pick to ensure that your team thoroughly ripped the opposition a new one?

I'd have switched zzirGrizz for xjaws , grizz will play the objective where as jaws just get kills.
Do you think a team will get airsupport up against that team

errrr, i donno. I guess you'd have to balance it out.

As much as he can be anoying, i'd say you'd have to put whiteboy in there, hes probably the best pub hero out of all them. Been looking at quite a few of his gameplays lately, unlike randy savage and co, hes been playing on a 2 bar connection for most of MW2.

Still, im pretty sure you could take any team in the top 30 in GB and they'd beat them all.

They would get raped by a good competitive team. Most of them think they are good because they post vids of themselves getting good scores in public tdm's lol

They might get a bit of a kicking initially in an objective game (mainly cos I've rarely seen objective games uploaded by commentators - though I preface that by saying I don't watch much MW2 on YouTube these days and when I did it was mainly SeaNanners, Hutch, Tejb and Sandy) but they'd be grand in a straightforward TDM.

I did see Hutch join the HollywoodAngels for a game against some competitive team in Dom and their TDM instincts lost them the game (all going positive or near positive and still losing, despite a one man advantage).

yeah, there isnt a big difference in skill between competitive players and public players in mw2, its still got a very weak competitive scene compared to some of the big pc games. Its not like with say cs 1.6 or quake where i can say 100% who the best players in the world are. Its likely that the best mw2 players dont play competitively at all.

The only thing that a bunch of guys like mentioned in this post wouldn't have that competitive teams would is proper tactics and strats.. wouldn't take that much for them to learn tho. aim/skill wise.. there isnt a big difference at all.
