    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good hair salon in the D1 or D2 area? I was thinking maybe of Peter Marks in Stephens Green? How much roughly would a wash, cut & blowdry be? I just want a good cut with some layers and maybe a fringe or side fringe. Also, has anyone with a calves lick ever been able to get any kind of fringe? Every time I ask for one I get refused! So I really just need a good hairdresser that will listen to what I want :) Thanks!

I'd recommend Toni and Guy on Clarendon St. Cost me €135 for cut, colour and blow dry.

Yes! I have a terrible calf lick above my right eye but I have a swept fringe. My part is on the opposite side to the calf lick and the fringe sweeps across from there. You basically have to get a lot of weight in the fringe so it hides the calf lick, I've often had to ask for more to be put in but there's never been a problem doing it!

I have a calf's lick as well and get a fringe put in the same way tomissex described it- sideswept across from the part with the lick and a bit heavy. I usually have to force the hairdressers into it and tell them I don't mind the upkeep involved!

I get my hair cut at Style Club on South William Street and I'm always happy with them. Wash, cut and blowdry is €39.

I got a haircut yesterday at Fame on South Great Georges Street and I was very impressed with them :) It cost 38 euro, starting out with very long hair. I got a longish bob ^^

    I'd definitely recommend them.

Please god don't go to Peter Marks. Search recent threads if you want a reason why.

I would recommend Zeba on Sth Fitzwilliam St. Its just beside the powerscourt centre. They are amazing. They tamed my seriously unmanageable mop. Can't give them enough kudos!
