Surprise

The Irish Daily Mail today reported that Glend Gilsons boyfriend plans to propose to her at Christmas and has been looking at engagement rings. They made sure to add that he had only told a few friends so I think we can presume it was to be a surprise. Am I the only one that finds this kind of reporting disgusting? Their frontpage headline was "Glenda to wed". Isn't this also a bit presumptive? If the proposal was to be at Christmas how can they know this? It's one thing to report on the lives of celebs but quite another to interfere like this and cause destruction.

    k_mac,

Hold on - you assume that its intrusion!

Who's to say that it wasn't a story given to the D.M, by one of them. Jasus it wouldn't be the firts time something like that happened.

Maybe GG is looking to get a few modelling jobs before xmas and needs the publicity!

Maybe it is. But a source close to them is what is said in the article. If you were goona look for publicity you'd publicise the wedding, not the future proposal.

Not necessarily... In any case, it's in the Sindo tonight, so neither Glenda nor the source close to the couple felt the need to knock the story on the head. Hmm:rolleyes:
