Well I'm sure ICABS will be on the show! So it could affect all hunters!
    Mink trappers included;)

Fairness to E TTG.They have been more than fair to both sides of any fieldsports/hunting issue.Different story if it is Slime time .

According to Countrywide this morning, both sides will be represented.

Not entirely sure this is hunting related, besides the release not so long ago.

Just because ICABS are/may be involved doesn't automatically follow it's hunting territory, IMO.

Going to let it go as long as it stays good humoured

I found out something interesting about Mink Farming this week.
Apparently Mink farms are the best method of disposing of fish waste that is not fit for human or animal consumption.
Some wastes can be fed to other animals such as pigs but most other animals enter the human food chain at some point.
So wastes that cannot be fed to these animals can be used as food for Mink, since mink is not eaten.
So they actually do a large amount of good work in eating all the crap that would otherwise have to be dealt with by rendering at a high cost.

I can't understand why this stuff couldn't be just dumped back into the sea to provide food for sea-birds, fish and crabs etc. All of who's populations have been hit by overfishing. The same goes for offal from meat factories etc.

How far out would it have to be dumped so it doesn't get washed up? Then there is the issure of factory ships.

Good question: I guess it depends on prevailing winds and currents, which is the same for sewage outflow pipes from major coastal settlements. As for factory ships - don't get me started on yet another government giveaway of our natural resources:mad:

Use the offal to set up feeding stations for the re-introduced raptors during the spring. Put it in the areas where the criminals are poisoning them. They would be less likely to get poisoned if they have a good source of food available. When the mink farms are shut down, they can feed the culled mink to the raptors:D
