Scope Rings

I just bought a S&M i-bolt sniper rifle which came without a scope. I already owned a scope I bought a few years ago before an order fell through so I was going to use it for the rifle. I only remembered then that the rings that came with the scope were too small to fit around it but I cannot remember what size rings they were. I have a Tasco 4 x 32e scope, can anybody tell me what size rings would fit tis or how can I measure to see what size I need.
    Thanks.

Should be standard 1" mounts for a 20mm rail.

I dont suppose you could post a link to where I could buy one, I dont want to order the wrong thing again.

Well if you don't want to order the wrong thing then I would suggest you meassure your scope before you purchase the rings.
If you have a vernier calipers great if not it doesn't really matter any type of meassuring device will work as they make them in fairly even numbers (1/2", 1"...). To be honest you should be able to tell just by looking at the scope.

If in doubt, go bigger - you can secure it with tape to make up the difference. Standard scope rings are between 25 - 30mm. Your best bet, to avoid purchasing the wrong thing, is to drop into a retailer :)

Sgairsoft has tonnes of scope rings in stock. You could bring your scope in there and try it out. I picked up two rings a few days ago in there for 4.90.

I just checked sgairsofts web site and they dont have any listed. I just checked my scope and rings and they do fit, it was about 2 years ago I looked at them last and I thought that was the problem. The problem is that they wont attach to the rail or else I dont know how to attach them. The rail is 20mm wide but the grip part or the rings is only about 15mm when at its limit and when screwed closed it is 10mm. I have got a longer screw which I thought would solve it but the fit just isint right. I have never attached a scope before so maybe I am doing it wrong but I cant see what I can do. Do they come in different sizes and shapes(grip wise). The rail is just a standard one I got when I bought the rifle.

Yeah you have scope rings for a 10mm rail, you need scope rings for a 20mm rail.

Cheers. Which should I buy, a new rail or new rings or does it matter?

I dunno if you can even get a thinner rail for that rifle, but buying new scope rings would be easier and cheaper.

Oh and most airsoft shops stock a lot more stuff instore then what they list online. If you can't make it over to the shop give them a ring or PM them here on boards and ask can they sort you out.
