USB hub for multiplayer

    Hi all,
Got a call from a friend saying he got 6 RF controllers in the post but has only 2 usb ports. Will a USB hub extending one of the ports to 4 or 6 USB's work?
Or 1 hub in each port extending each to 4?
Will they work alongside the bluetooth controllers?
Is one (bluetooth or rf) slightly faster?
Anyone got previous experience of this kinda thing?

FYI when I asked why he needed another 6 controllers he replied "8 MAN FIFA SESSION!!"

    Any help or advice appreciated,
    Olympian.

These use RF but with Bluetooth there's a 7 max on the PS3 because of Bluetooth as it can handle a maximum of 8 units

    1 Master ( PS3)
    7 slaves ( Controllers / Media Remote / etc)

when the ps3 is meant to use Bluetooth that limit will apply to other controllers using usb.

I think Fifa 11 is still 1-7 players anyway.

the worst that will happen is that you'll need a powered hub to use them as the ps3 may not be putting as much out when split over 4/6, get 2 hubs and it may not matter.
