    hi everybody,i'm a newcomer to boards,been a soldier for the last two years so have an ok fitness level,been thinking of progressing into sprint triathalons so gonna finally take the plunge any advice on getting stared,i already own a decent enough racing bike and can cycle at a fairly decent pace for long or short distances,swimming would be my weakest point so i'm guessing would i need to put most of my work into that,any advice would be appreciated..:D

    There was a beginer thread here a while back - I can't seem to find it.

    You're starting training at the right time. Over the winter is a good time to build your fitness in the three disciplines. Get some swimming lessons pronto, then spend time in the pool, on the bike and running. Enjoy it.
