Looks like we're in for some seriously wet & windy weather & possible flooding in high tide times. Sunday into monday looks to carry the brunt of the approaching bad weather. Hope the low lying city areas don't get hit again. Don't think munster will get the worst of it though, its coming in from a NW direction.

High tide has passed in Cork City and the River Lee has not flooded in the city centre. www.aaroadwatch.ie

Will probably be just the usual isolated flooding in places.

Was just in the city centre from Lee Fields down to Blackrock and the rivers nowhere near peak levels.

The next high tide is at 6.12am in the morning so it should be high when some are driving into work.

Was just in town for the evening, no issues. Junction of Togher Rd and Vicars Rd / Clashduv is under an inch or two but no bother really. Fingers crossed we get through the next couple of high tides without issue. The rain isn't that bad thankfully.

looks like a false alarm due to a combination of sensationalist reporting from the media and the fear of what we had last year..phew. But no harm in being alert and acting accordingly, like a safety drill of sorts.

There's still a massive swell to come so it might not be over just yet

the rain was seriously bad today. So a number of places with a foot or so of water in large pools of water on the road in any dips.
