Hi..I need to have root canal treatment on one of my back upper molars. I was just wondering what sort of cost I could be expected to incur and any advice on places to have this work carried out?
Would it be cheaper to travel North? Naturally I would prefer to have this work carried out in the Republic but in the current climate the cheapest price will win out without comprimising in care. Thanks in advance.

Some dentists have extra qualifications and do only root canals they are called endodontists and IMHO they do the best quality root canals, however they will cost more than having a general dentist do it. So you can either have the best job or a cheaper price never both at the same time. You will need a crown afterwards and again its the same story.
