'05 hiace brake lights not working

    new bulbs, fuse ok, new switch (4 terminals), power at switch. Can get them to work if i bridge two of the terminals but wont work off switch. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Have you manually pushed the switch in with a screwdriver to test it, or are you using the brake pedal? The switch may need to be adjusted relative to the brake pedal. If they're working when you bridge the switch, it points to a problem with the switch.

    FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

    You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

    Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

    Thanks for your reply. Got it sorted. Was the switch after all. I had checked the fuse but in messing around bridging the block connector I had blown the fuse so when I put the new switch on it didn't work. And of course I assumed the fuse was still ok. So new switch and fuse and alls good. Thanks again.
