Just looking at Saint Vincent de Paul website. Do they only seek cash donations, or can you still drop food and other goods to them?

I can only see cash (credit cards, etc) as an option on the website.

If you want to donate food or other items, your best bet would be to contact your local SVP. They usually operate out of the local church/school/community centre.

If you ring SVP head office they will tell you where your local conference is located.

Like Glenn say's, contact your local office. I did that today and a guy is calling to me next week to collect some toys I bought today in a local toy store, not much but hopefully will go to some needy kids for xmas day. :)

theres a clothing appeal on at the moment, old clothes, dvd's, brik a brak. they take them at their shops or you may find details of collections in your local church, sometimes collect stuff in shopping centres from a mobile van thing too.
