Secondary pdge; job prospects and emigrating to london

Not sure whether to apply to do pdge here as I heard job prospects for new pdge graduates aren't the best, especially for my subjects (English and history)
Not sure whether to do the pdge here and hope for the best, or emigrate and apply in London the following year
I think the way it is here I will be emigrating either way, but am I better off getting qualified in Ireland and then emigrating as a qualified teacher or am I better of getting qualified over there?
Is anyone else thinking of emigrating and teaching in secondary education abroad?
