Am looking to replace a five year old 15' Beko TV in our bedroom (now that digital tv is up and running) and was looking at the 19' walker Saorview telly for €150.

The price seems good, maybe too good, so has anyone any experience of this make of TV as in the sound and picture quality. I wouldn't to be spending too much more as it's only for my bedroom but still 30 or 40 euro might be the difference between a cheap tv and an excellent tv.

I bought a 32" walker from them and it does the job, but for some reason, when it picks up the saorview channels, they have awful, awful reception.

Thanks for the quick reply, well considering I'm buying it specifically for Saorview that may be a problem.
When you say bad reception I thought the whole idea of digital was you either had it perfect or didn't have it all. I had an aerial fitted in my attic and am really impressed with the quality on my LG TV.

My sister got a 32" walker tv a couple of years ago and it is awful, no matter the source (HD or SD) the picture is terrible. Sound isn`t great either...
Ì`d avoid them if you could...... surely there are better 19' inch tv`s compatible with saorview (I got a samsung LE19C350D1 recently for €220 that has an ok picture but no digital tuner)

Cheers folks, did a trawl with herself yesterday (looking for tumble dryer) and while in D.I.D. saw a Hanspree (correct spelling?) for the exact same price 22' for €199. Googled reviews of said TV's, not great so I reckon I'll wait till the Xmas sales and see if I can pick up a decent 'label' telly.

So if anyone can recommend a decent 19/22' lcd wall mountable TV I'd be grateful. The setup I have is a co-ax cable from an attic aerial for Irish DTT so a HD ready model particularly for that size is good enough, along with an old sky box for FTA channels and I have my old PS2 for DVD's.

As I said in my first post I don't mind paying a bit more than what seems the low benchmark of €199 for 22' TV's.

    This looks sweet

    LG (22 inch) 720 HD for 200 yoyo's

    http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=30001&catalogId=1500002451&langId=-1&searchTerms=LG+22LD350

If you ain't going for 50 inch plus, no point in getting a 1080p telly you won't notice the difference.

    Cheers Bestie,

Same model on sale in Powercity for €229 so using their price promise have just reserved one with them for the argos price of €199. I already have a LG tv so know they are a good product.

Kudos to both yourself and Powercity
