Just wondering if any people here have done any battlefield tours? If so, where did you go? Who did you go with, how much etc etc? Would love to go on one someday.

I go to Normandy for the D-Day anniversary almost every June but have never bothered with one of the tours as it is so easy to do it yourself with a little preparation. Having said that, I've met loads of groups on these tours and they are quite good particularly if a person's knowledge of the subject is fairly basic.

Every year there seems to be more tours available as interest in D-Day is growing rather than waning. Two tours I see a lot over there are Battlebus and Overlord Tours.
