Civil Engineering Question

So I've tried screening for civil engineering jobs in america but I'm not finding much.

I'm looking for similar Civils Site Engineer jobs as you would find in Ireland - setting out roads, drainage, foundations etc.. but I can't find anything.

I know in Australia, a civil site engineer would be called a engineering surveyor.

Anyone have any idea what they call the equivalent in the states?

Think surveyor is the term used in Canada. Not sure about the States though.
