    When I open quick time it shows in the dock but its not on the desktop. Maybe its corrupt?

    As in no window opens?? - is there an available update in Software Update?

    Maybe the site only supports a newer version of quicktime

    My mate has an old mac (3 years old) and it works. I installed Quick t7 and looked for updates. The only one found was for my printer. Is 7 not the latest?

    Well theres Quicktime X but if your friend has it working im stumped - maybe try a different browser?

    It could be the Flip4Mac plugin which is the issue. Try reinstalling it.

    working for me (activity monitor shows it running as "quicktime plugin 7.6.6")

    but in safari I am getting a message saying flip4mac is out of date.


    are you getting any message errors?

    No not getting any error message.
    The radio window opens and a line down the end saying "Missing Plugin"

    "quicktime plugin 7.6.6" is running and i reinstalled flip4mac. I also have a realplayer plugin installed

    Thanks everyone for your help.
    I decided to restart the Mac, figured it might be a good idea after reinstalling flip4mac.
    It's working for me now.
