Hi. Im a 6th year student with the view to doing medicine. I'm trying to learn about basic medicine and all the different specialties etc. Basically I want to know if anyone could recommend some good books or reading material that would give me some insight into medicine without being too technical and going over my head. I read an article about army medicine in National Geographic I think, and I found it really interesting. I know that medical articles come in magazines like that but I don't think there would be enough of them to warrant getting a subscription. Any suggestions would be welcome!
