    So my electrics have started to haywire with eventual failure of all things electric.
    Took out the alt had a quick look see at the brushes and they were more or less worn out.
    Its a denso alt. Will most MF's supply them or are they as rare as hens teeth....

    You should be able to get bits online, particularly if your car is a common make. I ordered brushes and spares for an oddball Vauxhall alternator from a crowd in the UK (can find out who if you need me to) some time back. The quoted cost of overhaul here was around €140, but I ordered the bits for something like €30.

    You should be able to get carbon brushes in the likes of radionics too, i believe they are sized in imperial measurements. Also if they are too big you can file them down to size...

    Thanks Sham. Am bit too tired to go searching so will have a good dig around in the morn.
    Its a chrysler Voyager with a denso alt.
