Hi, I am a final year business student taking law as my specialism. Having never previously studied law I am very new to the style differences in writing academic essay's and the general themes to which I must write about. I am currently researching the topic of Pure economic loss caused by Negligence in common law, and must discuss the challenges involved in courts re-assessing their approach to pure economic loss.

I've been giving a reading list of cases which relate to this topic, and some articles too but I just thought I would post on here in case anybody might have some further resources they might suggest as being helpful in this topic. I appreciate any advise or tips.

    Cheers!!

Requests for research resources are common enough. Maybe a sticky needed.

    Anyway:

www.bailii.org is a good free site.

If you have access Lexis and Westlaw are also useful

Negligence / economic loss considered by the Supreme Court in Glencar v Mayo Co Co.
