Dance legends LEFTFIELD have announced a second date at TRIPOD, to follow their sold out show on Saturday 11th December.

Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, the pioneers of 90s dance have added a second performance on Sunday 12th December.
**Tickets go on sale at 9am next Monday 8th November**
After a series of stunning headline performances at some of this year's hottest festivals including Rockness, Benicassim, L.E.D and Creamfields, Neil Barnes returns with a new live show that's set to reverberate the length of the UK this autumn. Barnes will be joined by original vocalists Djum Djum, Earl 16 and Cheshire Cat for a tour that will demonstrate once again why Leftfield Live is one of the must-see live music experiences on the planet. Barnes will not be joined by original member Paul Daley.

Daley comments: "I'm about to embark on a solo career with the release of my first solo album. I also want to continue concentrating on my DJ'ing work, so I've decided I won't be joining Neil on stage for the Leftfield dates this year. I want to thank all the fans for their past support and all the people who will be hearing and seeing the band for the first time."

The live shows are the stuff of legend, as those who saw the show at Electric Picnic this year can testify.

“For the oldsters, it was a trip down memory lane, while the newbies could finally see what all the fuss was about…it was the full-throttle alien techno squawk of Phat Planet that made many realize just how much they’d missed this lot” Jim Caroll, The Irish Times

In response to the immense goodwill towards the band Neill Barnes says; "Obviously it's nostalgia on one level and I wholeheartedly accept that. Initially, it was weird. Last night felt wonderful. You can't get too carried away by the bravado… for years I didn't listen to any of it. It was the last century when those tracks first came out!”

Their first show in 10 years at Tripod earlier this year made grown men cry. Their return to Tripod this December is one more opportunity to experience the magic.
