    Hi Folks,

Has anyone any experience in this area?

    - Seems to me like a complex job where there's only one shot at success and plenty of room for errors leading to expense, delays and of course very serious health issues.

Couldn't be nice to carry out remedial Radon Barrier work in each Room individually and then go through your suggested 3 months of a test period to find that the levels area dangerously high etc?

Is there a particular method that sets the high standard here? What should I be ensuring is done - At the end of the day the Tradesman will be long gone before I know there's an issues and even then they will not guarantee a low test etc.

    - I'd be very grateful to hear of any experiences or suggestions, also any first hand referrals for Someone who has carried out this work to a high standard would be much appreciated :)

    Hi Raiser
I would suggest you do the test first, you will then know what the readings are. This will save all the ripping up at the moment. If reading are then high you can start to carry out work. If readings are high let me know as remedial work may not be to difficult. If you go on line you can buy the kit direct off RPII. I am at present waiting on reading and will know when i send back the capsules for testing in january. Then i may have to do some remedial work myself ?. The test is cheap so I would do that first.
