Will there be a new Desire (not HD)?

    Do people think HTC will bring out a replacement for the Desire i.e. same size screen etc but updated specs? Or is the HD it? Its just too big for me but I hate forking out on "old" technology.

    heard there will be HTC Mecha, but not sure if its true though :)

    Whatever's next will probably have a few tweaks to keep it current, or just ahead of the curve.

    HTC are past the point where they have turn out any major 'watershed' phones to ensure market share.

    Screenwise, there was some suggestion that Samsung simply won't let them use a 4 inch Amoled screen. If that's the case, and things don't change, i guess the screen isn't going to get any bigger.

    Desire Announced Feb.
    Desire HD announced Sept
    Desire replacement announced early next year?
