You can try Mac2Sell, but I find they somewhat undervalue.

You have to be sure to pick Ireland as the country and it adjusts it.

By the sounds of this, it's a Mac Pro that she is looking to sell. They are a high end machine and they tend to be used in the workplace more so than as a household machine. What's the reason for selling it; people who would look to buy such a machine will generally know what they are looking out for and what it was used for so be prepared for a few questions.

Also, if you can clarify what OS is installed and an age of the Mac it would be a help:)

With those specs it's probably a first gen model - they came out in 2006.

Cheers for the link basquille very helpfull.

Do you know what processor I would select? When I check the settings on the machince it says "2x 2.66GHz dual core Intel Xeon". Does this make it a quad core machine?

Also it has a DVD RW drive but I dont see an option to select this? Would combo drive fit the bill here?

@Ham'nd'egger. Yes the machine is a MacPro(I should have stated this in the title). She was doing graphic design in college so the machine was used to help here with this. OS installed is Leopard and I think the machine is about four years old or there abouts..

Yeah, the Model Identification under the "About this Mac" says 1.1 so this seems to tie in.

For the purposes of that site; yeah it does.

Don't worry about that; it's an easily fitted extra onto one and it makes little difference pricewise.

Happy days. If this machine had some more RAM added and 10.6 installed it will have a long happy life ahead of it so it's selling potential is high; you won't have much hassle selling it. Just set a decent price and stick to it within reason; it's a good machine :)
