HTC Desire problem with USB connection

    Bit of a strange one here - don't know if anyone can help.

    Whenever i connect USB the Desire unmounts the sdcard.

    Even if i choose "charge only" the contents of "F:\" - the sdcard - will pop up on my PC

    Even if i connect the dedicated mains charger i lose access to the sdcard on the phone (like its trying to mount it as a disk drive).

    i've had a dig around the settings but cant find anything that relates ... this seems to me to be highly irregular behaviour anyway

    it's annoying because i cant watch divx files while connected to the mains - it will lose access to the sdcard

    any help appreciated - cheers!
