So a friend works as a night porter in a hotel. There is a meeting tomorrow to discuss security and other related stuff. He is to be told that he will have to walk around the grounds of the hotel every hour to check if there is anyone there.

There has been no training in security and there is no centralized control to which he can report to if he gets attacked. He is the only member of staff on at night.

The guy that does the other night shifts (when he isn't on) has been working when there has been break-ins in the past. The most recent, the burglar was carrying a bottle. Before that it was screw drivers.

Now my question is does he have to agree to this based on the lack of training, centralized control and 9 euro per hour pay.

    Thanks.
