Saorview plus Dreambox

    Hello to all I recently asked about where to buy a dreambox but it did not work out at that time, now four of us are thinking of buying a DM500s box each and getting aerials for saorview then we would have a lot of free TV but the question is where to buy the dreamboxes can they be bought in Ireland clone boxes would do fine as we have agreed on dreamboxes and we would appreciate your help many thanks * Billy D.

    no saorview on a 500s its satellite only...you need a linux box with a satellite AND terrestrial tuner like the AZbox or QBox

    The DM500s will only work with a Satellite services and not Terrestrial TV via an Aerial.

    Sorry I should have explained better our plan of action is to have the dreamboxes working from satellite dishes on Astra 28.2E and a UHF Log Periodic aerial each for RTE1, RTE2, TV3 and TG4 as we think we will be happy with that for the moment sorry for the confusion and thank you for your help but two of the four swear by the dreambox so we would like to get four of the DM500s model by for now Billy D.

    Ive used this crowd from Belfast before, 2 days delivery and decent prices and support.

    snaps believe it or not one of my friends has being trying to get a man named Frank from that site for the past few days he rang this man twice received a tesco answering service both times left messages but no reply at all my friend was telling that if you bought from this man who is based in Belfast or wherever that he would meet up with you in Dundalk if you wanted and you could get the stuff directly from him or he would post it to you I thank you for your help hopefully this man may reappear or if not do you or anybody who may read this know of some other seller many thanks > Billy D.
