I was very sad to hear that Illasmasqua makeup is to leave BT2. I love this brand and it's unique take on beauty. Their approach is so fresh and I love there whole 'Alter Ego' idea.

I just don't think BT2 was the right home for a brand with such an alternative feel to it. I have a lot of friends in the alt scene and most didn't even realise Illamasqua had a place here as they would never be in BT2.

There is a discussion on their FB page to let them know they have a lot of Irish fans so if you love the brand let them know.

I think a stand alone store would do so much better. How about you guys?

Shame. Great range (according to those I know that use it). At least you'll still be able to get it online.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

They do great foundation. I was only at their counter once. I generally buy from their site. It's a pity but it wont make a difference to me really.

I'm not a fan of buying makeup online....I like to get my paws on it first and see how it looks in real life. (Plus I get a discount on it in BT2!!!!) I just hate when brands that are 'a bit different' don't do well in boring old Dublin.

They seem to do great business in Debenhams up in Belfast, shame the same didn't translate down here.

Oh no. I love Illamasqua. They always have such great colours in nail varnish, and I'm rather fond of their lipsticks too. :(

I thought they might be leaving. Did anyone else notice that in their competition a few weeks ago Dublin wasn't on option on the 'nearest counter' dropdown menu?

It's a pity. I've never actually bought anything from them, because I always forget there's a counter in BT2. They'd do much better with a standalone store. I'll be in Dublin on Wednesday though so I might grab a couple of things before they're gone.
