i got a new one on ebay as old one was sticking, the first one they sent me was giving trouble rushing on ff and channel selection and i emailed them and told them what was wrong they said its one out of a bad batch and to be fair they sent another out straight away, this one has lost the volume, text and the terrestial tv facility and jumps ahead about 4 channels when lightly pressed and ff and rewind get stuck at times, question is should i have just bought the one in dunnes stores for 40e instead of being greedy and going for the ebay 15e or is the situation redeemable,

I bought this one from Amazon (42 5star ratings) and it works perfectly, plus it's cheaper: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sky-HD-Official-Remote-Control/dp/B000UX6VKU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1288957360&sr=8-1

Also, since it's a HD control i think it personally looks nicer. You can get it to work on your Sky+ box by doing the following:

Press TV, hold Select & i together until the LED light flashes twice, press 1 then Select.

^ No probs mate, glad to help.

I bought another one myself last week just to have as a spare. Bought it on the Friday afternoon and it was delivered to me on Monday morning, couldn't believe how quickly it arrived!! Works perfect as well.
