just can anyone help me here, I have been doing alot of running recently for a 10k comming uo in three weeks time, I noticed on monday after an 8 mile run my shins were kind of burning, I ran again last night for another 6 mile and found the same today, at no point during the run did I feel in any pain. I have got shin splints before but just would like to know if people think this is the start of them. Also I wore an old pair of runners on the sunday which may not have helped. I would be greaful to hear anyones opinions on this?

The runners did it to you. You made a big change and ran 8 miles not a great idea to do that.
At least you won't make the same mistake again.

go to a physio or get your feet checked out doing a gait analysis, alot of the time it can be in correct footwear or badly worn.
