How do I reset the FN button

When I used to press the FN and F5 button I could connect the laptop to a projector. Now it only gives me the option of connecting the laptop to the TV or another computer. My laptop seems to have lost the function of allowing me to connect to a projector. Any advice welcome. Thanks.
