    Guys,
I cleaned a virus from a site and I'm now trying to add it to my google webmaster tools to ask them to re consider it for malware infection. I've uploaded the "google" html file into every folder and it still wont verify. Anyone have any ideas or see this happen before?

Not sure why it wouldn't verify unless the html file you are uploading is different to the html file on your site
Can you try verifying with a metatag instead of uploading the HTML file - this should work just the same?
