    Hi,
I'm leaving the country for at least a year and a half doing a world trip. What Taxes can I claim back. I know of using a p50 but i am wondering if there is anything else i can claim back.
    Thanks for any help

What have you applied for so far?
Do you pay any other taxes apart from PAYE?

You can only claim back what you paid over.I assume you mean are you missing out on tax credits to help reclaim tax.

Did you pay rent?Have you medical expenses?Did you pay service charges/refuse? Did you pay trade union subscribtions? Advise revenue on all of these and you may be entitled to extra tax back - BUT you can only claim back what you pay.

Yes i paid service charges and medical charges but not the others.
Am I only entitled to a % of the tax I paid back or all of it?
    Thanks

Service charges and medical expenses are reliefs. This means you get 20% back from what you pay.

Contact paye Helpline 1890222425 and they will be able to help you out. Just have you PPS number handy.
