PES 2011- Penalties?

I played online there and had my first penalty shootout. I barely tapped my analog stick to the side and it went well wide. It took 11 shots for me to score (and win!!!) Does anyone know the best way to deal with penalties?

What is the story with direction and height when it is a shoot-out? Cause the camera angle is different and there is no way to practice without somehow going through a whole cup match and forcing a shoot-out!
